Sanjeev's Ontology

Leveraging largely Wikipedia (and a few other sources), I've attempted to construct a starting point ontology of human knowledge in order to categorize my interests, books, links, videos and more. In doing so, I hope it will make it easier for the reader to zoom into what they enjoy, a one stop browsing hierarchy of sorts.

Mathematics  (from Greek μάθημα máthēma, "knowledge, study, learning") is the study of such topics as quantity, structure, space, and change. It has no generally accepted definition.

Mathematics (My Ontology) has been broken down into 3 major sub-branches:

  3. Applied Mathematics



Science  (from Latin scientia, meaning "knowledge") is a systematic enterprise that builds and organizes knowledge in the form of testable explanations and predictions about the universe.

Science (My Ontology) has been broken down into 3 major sub-branches:

  1. Formal Science
  2. Data Science
  3. Empirical Science



Humanities are academic disciplines that study aspects of human society and culture.  Today, the humanities are more frequently contrasted with natural, and sometimes social, sciences as well as professional training.
